Root - Anubias Frazeri
Root - Anubias Frazeri
Anubias Frazeri is a hardy and attractive aquarium plant, prized for its robust, lance-shaped green leaves that grow on thick rhizomes. This hybrid variety of Anubias is well-suited for a wide range of freshwater aquariums, from low-tech to high-tech setups. Its leaves can reach a length of 10–12 cm, making it an excellent midground or background feature in aquascapes.
Thriving in low to moderate lighting, Anubias Frazeri grows slowly but steadily and does not require CO₂ supplementation, making it perfect for beginners. It prefers water temperatures between 72°F and 82°F with a pH range of 6.0–7.5. Unlike many aquatic plants, it can be anchored to driftwood, rocks, or other aquarium decorations, as planting the rhizome in substrate can cause it to rot.
Low maintenance and resistant to nibbling by herbivorous fish, Anubias Frazeri is a reliable and visually appealing addition to any aquarium, offering a lush, natural aesthetic
