Bolivian Ram- Tropical Fish

The Bolivian Ram is a rare and stunning dwarf cichlid known for its vibrant colors and fascinating personality. A sought-after species among enthusiasts, this fish boasts a rich ruby-red body accented with iridescent blue markings and striking black facial patterns, giving it a unique and eye-catching appearance.

Typically growing to around 2.5 to 3 inches, the Bolivian Ram thrives in soft, slightly acidic water (pH 5.5–7.0) with a temperature range of 76–82°F. Though generally peaceful, this species exhibits mild territorial behavior, especially during breeding. It does well in species-only tanks or with other small, non-aggressive fish in a carefully selected community setup.

A micro-predator by nature, the Bolivian Ram thrives on a varied diet of live and frozen foods, including brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms, supplemented with high-quality pellets and flakes.
