The Creamsicle Molly is a stunning variation of the popular Molly fish (Poecilia sphenops) known for its vibrant orange and white coloration, resembling the classic creamsicle treat. This peaceful and hardy fish is a favorite among aquarists for its striking appearance, easy care, and compatibility with community tanks.


🐠 Appearance:

  • Size: Grows up to 3–4 inches (7.5–10 cm) in length.

  • Coloration:

    • The body displays a beautiful blend of orange and white with the vibrant orange covering much of the fish's body and the white portions giving it a striking, two-tone look.

    • Fins: Transparent with hints of orange and often a soft, translucent appearance.

  • Sexual Dimorphism:

    • Males are smaller with more vibrant coloring and pointed fins, while females are larger with a more rounded belly, especially when pregnant.


🌿 Tank Requirements:

  • Tank Size: Minimum 20 gallons for a small group.
