Detailed Description
Detailed Description
The Pimelodella 4-Line Catfish is a sleek and energetic bottom-dweller known for its striking horizontal stripes—four dark lines running along a slender, silver-gray body. A nocturnal species by nature, this catfish is often seen darting between hiding spots and keeping the substrate clean as it scavenges for food.
These catfish are hardy, adaptable, and do well in peaceful community aquariums with plenty of driftwood, smooth stones, and hiding places. Although a bit shy in brightly lit tanks, they become more active at dusk and night, making them a great pick for aquarists who enjoy evening tank viewing.
