Add a vibrant splash of orange to your aquarium with the Sunkist Neocaridina Shrimp! These eye-catching dwarf shrimp feature a bold, solid orange coloration that pops against dark substrates and planted aquascapes. Hardy and beginner-friendly, they’re perfect for nano tanks or peaceful community setups.

Bred from the ever-popular Neocaridina davidi, Sunkist Shrimp are active algae grazers and detritus cleaners that contribute to the overall health of your tank ecosystem. Their social nature means they do best in groups, where you’ll see them foraging, exploring, and even breeding.

Fun Facts:

  • Sunkist shrimp are graded by color intensity—ours are high-grade for the brightest orange!

  • They molt regularly, shedding their exoskeleton as they grow.

  • Females often display a "saddle" (a yellow patch behind the head) when ready to breed.

  • These shrimp can breed prolifically in stable freshwater conditions without special intervention.

Diet:
Omnivorous scavengers—feed them a balanced diet of algae wafers, shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables (like spinach or zucchini), and occasional protein-rich treats (like bloodworms or brine shrimp).

Compatibility:
Best kept with peaceful tankmates like snails, small rasboras, tetras, or other shrimp. Avoid housing with aggressive or predatory fish.

Bring color, charm, and natural cleaning power to your tank with the Sunkist Neocaridina Shrimp—a lively addition for planted aquariums and shrimp lovers alike!
